Two months ago I was personally introduced to a very exclusive line of Champagne (I was first made aware of this luxe champagne by this its appearance in Jay-Z's music video and then his support of it after),
but I got up close and very personal at a tasting event they held - refresh your memory HERE. I am of course talking about Armand de Brignac or Ace of Spades Champagne.
Armand de Brignac is the luxury Champagne from the award-winning Champagne Cattier Chateau of Chigny-les-Roses, France. Bearing recognizable Ace of Spades insignias on its bottle, Armand de Brignac boasts three prestige cuvées - Brut Gold, Rosé and Blanc de Blancs (shown above) - each reflecting the discerning tastes of those individuals who desire the finer things in life.
I will generously gift one My Life on and off the Guest List reader to a gorgeous bottle of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold, which retails for $300 (the Rose and Blanc de Blancs retails for $500), was recently ranked the number one Champagne in the world in a blind-tasting of over 1,000 brands, beating the likes of Dom Perignon, Cristal, Pol Roger, etc. Armand de Brignac exemplifies unmatched winemaking expertise and a true passion for the art of Champagne.
ABOUT CATTIER
Since 1763, the Cattier family has owned and cultivated vineyards in the prestigious Montagne de Reims terroir of the French Champagne region. Family patriarch Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son, Alexandre Cattier, along with only eight others, produce the Champagne from grape to glass through traditional hand labor-intensive methods. Aged in a gated section of the cellars considered among the deepest in Champagne, each cuvée includes a unique liqueur de dosage aged nine months in oak casks, ensuring that every bottle of Armand de Brignac is of superior and unmatched quality.
Inspired by famed French fashion designer André Courrèges, each metallic bottle is crafted entirely by hand, featuring two Ace of Spades insignias and four hand-applied pewter labels. The striking bottle is housed in a black wooden case embossed with the Champagne’s royal crest. Each box is lined in velvet and fitted with an engraved nameplate, reflecting the splendor and grand style of the French fashion world and perfectly complementing the Armand de Brignac Champagne within.

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary on September 1st. With having young children, it seems like most of our anniversaries are celebrated as a "family", but this year, since it's a special year, my husband and I are planning on going away for a nice romantic evening to ourselves. I'd bring this bottle of Champagne along with us, to celebrate our special day.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for offering this wonderful prize.

This is the annual gathering of the clan, and becoming more and more important to me as I have become the matriarch of this family and the years fly by.
