Mambo Clothing Launches at Bon-Ton Stores

Several great things come from Australia including my favorite True Blood star, Ryan Kwanten who also just happens to be the new Brand Ambassador for Aussie brand street and surf wear brand, Mambo. To celebrate the partnership, Mambo and Bon-Ton Stores held an event at Drive-In Studios. “We are very pleased about our partnership with Mambo Graphics. It is especially exciting to be the first retailer in the United States to offer this iconic Australian surfwear/streetwear brand,” commented Bud Bergren, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bon-Ton. “Mambo is one of the top surf and skate brands in the world and will be an exciting addition to our extensive portfolio of exclusive private and national brand offerings. It will offer a vast assortment of fun and artfully-designed products for our young customer.”


The Mambo collection which will surely keep brands like Hollister on its toes, started appearing in stores beginning this fall and includes young men’s, juniors and children’s apparel, as well as accessories and swimwear; prices are estimated to range from a very affordable $18.00 – $50.00. As the Brand Ambassador, the very hot Ryan Kwanten, who is also the face of the brand, was in attendance to play host for the event.

As a huge fan of True Blood, its always a bit of a shock to hear Ryan Kwanten speak in his native Aussie accent when I’m so used to hearing the deep southern twang of Jason Stackhouse. Anyway, here’s a snippet of the Ill Fits performing one of their songs

Along with the performance, the event had skateboarders working an indoor ramp, a graffiti artist painting a wall and guests were also treated to complimentary tees screen-printed with a few Mambo graphics (I went with the “Love” graphic
