Land’s End’s The Pink Thread Project: Awareness You Can Wear

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Land’s End has come up with a fashionable way to show your support and help raise awareness. Teaming up with Breastcancer.org, Land’s End has come up with The Pink Thread Project. Customers are able to choose from six different (light or dark) pink embroideries to add on to any Land’s End item being purchased. The embroidery costs only $6.00 (that’s less than shipping and handling on some websites!) and 75% of the fee is donated to Breastcancer.org. What a cute way to show support!

The pink embroidery adds an eye-catching pop of color.

You can share your Pink Thread (your reason for supporting, whoever or whatever they are) on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using @Landsend and #pinkthread in your posts. Land’s End will be donating $1 to Breastcancer.org for every post made (up to $10,000). I personally think that The Pink Thread Project is a great way to start October off with some positivity plus you’re getting some very fashionable additions to your closet! The Pink Thread Project will be taking place from now until October 31st – remember: a little pink goes a long way! Here are a few more pictures of Land’s End items with their Pink Project embroideries:

I love the color combination of the deep pink and navy blue – it is bold and makes a statement even though the embroidery is small.

I love pink and white as a color combination, it’s classic, chic, and clean.
A versatile Land’s End tote bag that can be paired with a lot of different outfits.

Will you be supporting? Comment with your #pinkthread !
