Meet & Greet with the German Wine Queen and Riesling Tasting

Kim, Patty, Zia and I went to Union Square Wine & Spirits for a Meet & Greet and Riesling tasting with German Wine Queen, Marlies Dumbsky. I posted a notice about this event not too long ago, click HERE to see it

Before her reign ends this October, she appears at hundreds of wine presentations and events all over the world and this was just on of her stops.

We got to sample some very nice Rieslings, which ranged from very dry to sweet

My favorite was the Joh.Jos.Prüm 2007 Bernkasteler Badstube Spätlese

I had a chance to interview Marlies about her reign and of course German Wines. Check it out below

I really really like this post, I live in the city too and can't get enough of wine or of the shop by Union Square. Thanks, and I'll try to come by and check out the blog more often!
